Sourced from a 25 year old vineyard in the ancient Montemarano growing region of Taurasi, the wine is  fermented and aged in a mix of clay amphora and fiberglass - no oak influence here! Soulful, zen-like and pure, the wine balances plush and spicy black/red berry fruit with mystical layers earthy funk and tart balsamic acidity. Aglianico at its most pure and unadorned.  14.5% ABV
