Vines up to 45 years old.   A complex bouquet including citrus, red currants, cinnamon, red cherries, smoke, licorice, and graphite, with notes of black plum, blackberry, dark chocolate, and black pepper.  Full-bodied, dense, and powerful, with supple fruit, velvety tannins, and crisp, precise, mouthwatering acidity. Flavors of dark fruits, licorice, and oak contribute to its complexity.  The finish is long, satisfying, and balanced, with a "chocolaty" or spicy conclusion.  15% ABV
