100% Nebbiolo

A traditional, 100% Nebbiolo wine from Monforte d'Alba.  Italy,Only 150 cases of this wine are imported.  Fermented in 3000/5000L concrete vats for 15-20 days, then aged a minimum 18 months in Slavonian oak barrels, then aged a minimum of 6 months in bottle before release.  

The wine offers mint, orange and medicinal herb aromas and flavors of red berry fruit, minerals, leather, and savory herbs, and earthy notes in the background.  Structured, medium-to-full bodied, with, firm, fine-grained, "chewy" tannins.
