Vinosia Fiano di Avellino 2020

Vinosia’s Fiano di Avellino comes from the high hills of Irpinia where the Fiano grape reaches its maximum expression. Fiano variety was disappearing and instead its vinification in purity in Irpinia has shown that it is a great Italian white grape. Today Fiano di Avellino is an important DOCG white wine, appreciated for its complexity and also for its predisposition to aging.

The grapes are pressed and the free-run must ferments in steel vats at a controlled temperature. The wine remains in steel until bottling.

This is a delicate wine, with hints of fresh fruit, almond, hazelnut, citrus fruits, herbs, white flowers, and dried flowers. On the palate, this is a full-bodied wine with light fruit and floral notes. Pair with light appetizers, buffalo mozzarella and other fresh cheeses, and seafood dishes.
