This wine comes from Ischia Island (south-eastern side: Cava delle Erbe, Pignatiello, and Torri), Campania, Italy.   200 to 400 meters above sea level on extremely steep, vertical slopes on poor volcanic soils featuring pumice stone, obsidian, tuff, and sand.  White vinification fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperatures (16–18°C) to preserve fruit purity and natural acidity.  Brilliant straw yellow.  Intense and fragrant nose of white flowers, citrus blossom, and spices, with delicate hints of banana, sage, gorse, and a saline sea breeze. Ample, vibrant, and silky texture backed by a lively, crisp acidity and a deep, mineral-rich, slightly savory finish.  12.5% ABV
