100% Sangiovese

The Fuligni Estate was founded in 1923.  Matures in 20- to 30-hectolitre Slavonian oak casks with a small percentage in French tonneaux.  Aromas of chestnut, forest and wood, with fennel and spiced plum.  The palate offers lustrous red berries and pressed violets,  withtightly woven tannins across the palate.  An intricate and detailed wine with profound depths.  A classic Brunello that should have plenty of longevity.  15% ABV
