55% Corvina and Corvinone, 30% Rondinella, with the remaining 15% a field blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Nebbiolo, Croatina, and Sangiovese.

Made in the Ripasso style and aged in large Slavonian oak barrels for seven years before release.  On the nose notes of fresh picked strawberries, wet stone, violet blossoms, cedar, truffle, rose, dried herbs.  On the palate, the wine is a model of purity and balance with brilliant acidity.  Flavors include crisp wild berry fruits, cherry, red licorice, cocoa, blackberry, plum, bitter chocolate, and earthy notes. The texture is silky and elegant, with strong but smooth tannins.  15% ABV
