Maceration and alcoholic fermentation take place in temperature controlled tanks for approximately 10 days. Malolactic fermentation occurs in second-use French oak barrels, followed by a minimum of 9 months of aging. Further bottle maturation completes the wine’s development.  Pale ruby red to the eye.  The nose is elegant and delicate, with aromas of fresh cherry, violet petals and sweet spice nuances. The palate is rich and harmonious, with fresh fruit notes and subtle balsamic hints. Silky tannins support a refined and persistent finish. 14.5% ABV
