The Vermut Dry is Fred’s take on the traditional Chambéry style. The palate is decidedly savory, with the expected citrus and nutty notes, as well as the brilliant addition of dill which shines through on the nose along with the elderflower. It has a silky mouthfeel, and finishes dry with notes of wormwood. The base wine, produced from Ribolla Gialla (local to Friuli), and known for its acidity and florality, establishes a refreshing foundation for the botanical additions. 18% ABV
