Hailing from the enchanting Etruscan town of Sarteano, the nose on this Chianti is deep and savory, starting with cigar box and tobacco leaf rolling into spicy tomato jam, dried cherries, dried figs and spices. The palate has the crunch of fresh cherries but also balsamic vinegar, tomato leaf and rocks and soil after a rain, with a ribbon of acid fluttering through a full finish
